Breakfast was very good and included in price and consisted of good variety of menu options. Staff was also very pleasant and helpful. Location was perfect for access to cruise port. Ate dinner three nights in hotel dining room and all three were excellent. Share the Holland House Experience, even if you visit St. Maarten only for a day by cruise ship.

At cocktail time, the island's power brokers, vacationers, and visiting business people mingle at the Ocean Lounge. Some enjoy their drinks right at the bar, while others prefer the comfortable outdoor seating with a privileged view over the action on the Boardwalk and the beauty of Great Bay.
We included breakfast and it was well worth the cost. The food was delicious and the view was fantastic! Join us for a beautiful evening, great food, great wines and great service. Pass Princess Juliana Airport from the Maho / Cupecoy direction, or pass the Causeway Bridge coming from Marigot / Grand Case, towards Simpson Bay. Keep the sea on your right hand side and the Simpson Bay Lagoon on your left. Follow the main road to your left when it turns inland and you reach the Kruythoff roundabout. Take the road uphill to the right and follow it for half a mile until you reach a roundabout on top of the hill. Skip the first exit towards Indigo Bay, but take the second (downhill).
Superb location right in the heart of Philipsburg, easy for us to get around and catch a bus anywhere on Back Street. I would recommend this hotel and wish we could stay longer. However, our room didnt have self-catering facilities which would have made our stay even more perfect. The shower, size of the bed and balcony over looking the ocean view was divine. A special note about the staff, the Guyanese bell man was so helpful checking in on us, the check-in desk staff were also helpful with arranging food deliveries. We ate at the restaurant and the food was amazing, not too hot even though it says spicy on the menu, if you like your pepper.

View of Philipsburg was stunning - fantastic to have a balcony to read/relax on. Clean and good shower facilities which is handy with the beach and beach chairs. The 4 Junior Suites are beautifully appointed. Their studio style provides a sleeping and living area. Located on the first floor, overlooking Great Bay, their extended terrace offers a fantastic beach view. With all the amenities of the Beach Front Deluxe, the Junior Suite offers superior comfort during your stay at the Hotel. It was wonderful to be served a hot breakfast, instead of the usual buffet. The food was very good, and the servers friendly and helpful.
